Rates
Square Inch Price
I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for all designs. I will measure your quilt when it arrives and charge accordingly. For example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x 2.5 = $120.

My minimum quilting charge is $35. This means that a small quilt, quilted designs on foam stabilizer for bags or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $35 minimum.

Batting
I use and stock Hobbs (natural) and Quilters Dream mid loft (white) batting both in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend. I also stock 100% cotton Quilters Dream (white) and have packaged Quilters Dream wool batting as well.

I charge for batting by the inch from 93" rolls of batting or by the individual package. For batting cut off the role, I will use only what is needed for your quilt measuring the smallest side + a 5" margin and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.

Thread
I stock both Glide #40 weight which has a lovely sheen and Premo #50 weight which has a more matte finish. The thread charge is included in your square inch price.
I will usually suggest we match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt but just let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Binding Services
Send your premade binding or the uncut fabric and I will attach the binding for you.

Shipping
I live in Wisconsin and am happy to receive your top and backing by mail. Please send your materials enclosed in a bag to protect against moisture and then in a cardboard box.
Return shipping: I use USPS Priority mail or flat rate when possible. Shipping is not included in the square inch price. Priority mail comes with $100 of insurance and a tracking number, please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage.
Other Costs
As I indicated above, batting is not included in the square inch price.
I'm required by the State of Wisconsin to collect sales tax for your location on the batting portion only of an invoice if the quilt is being shipped out of Wisconsin.

If you are a local to Wisconsin, I'm required to collect gross receipts tax on any quilting, extra services and batting. The rate depends on the final destination of the quilt.

After the work is complete, I will invoice you allowing for credit card payment or via PayPal if preferred.
